Arnold Magcale is a recognized visionary, respected innovator and trusted leader in the data center industry who continues to shatter expectations by delivering breakthrough technologies. With three decades of experience in the data center sector, he has played critical roles driving innovation, scalability, efficiency and sustainability while shaping the digital infrastructure that under pins modern businesses and society.
As an early pioneer in the industry, Mr. Magcale helped launch one of Silicon Valley’s first data centers while serving on the management team of Exodus Communications and continued breaking barriers by founding Nautilus Data Technologies in 2013. As the founder and chief scientist at Nautilus, Magcale’s inventions produced the world’s first fleet of commercial waterborne data centers, which provided the most high-performing and environmentally sustainable data centers of their time.
Never satisfied with the status quo, Magcale’s persistence to push new frontiers led him to his latest venture, Ultrascale Data Infrastructure founded in 2022. Ultrascale’s mission is to supply the world with the ultra-energy efficient, ultra-dense, ultra-sustainable infrastructure needed to support the proliferation of AI and high-power GPUs. Mr. Magcale currently holds 60 technology patents and is also a noted authority on cloud design, Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, highly scalable service infrastructure and business process optimizations. His background includes senior management positions at LoudCloud, Motorola Mobility, and he was on the founding team at Danger, Inc., when they developed the first smartphone.
In 2016, Magcale was named one of the data center industry’s top ten “Innovators, Revolutionaries, Movers and Shakers” by Datacenter Dynamics.
Additionally, Mr. Magcale had a unique and distinguished 10-year career in the United States Navy Special Forces. His military background, maritime expertise and technology skills have helped him reimagine liquid cooling solutions and continually challenge the limits of industry norms.
Mr. Magcale studied at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, where he received a B.A. in Information Technology and did his postgraduate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT, Cambridge.
Jason Hargis is a well-respected, time-tested, transformational leader in the technology industry with extensive expertise in both the technical intricacies and strategic business aspects of technology management. His diverse background and exceptional knowledge of AI workload solutions make him uniquely qualified to help lead the data industry as it transcends to accommodate the age of "AI factories."
With more than 30 years of experience in senior-level technology roles, he's managed projects across a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, semiconductor ATE, hyper-scale global infrastructure, healthcare, insurance, SAS global hosted solutions, traditional banking and fintech. During his distinguished career, Jason has collaborated with some of the most well-known industry giants such as Bechtel, Cargill, Google, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Motorola, Netflix, eBay, and PayPal, where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive business success through the innovative application of technology.
A passionate advocate for automation, Jason is always looking for opportunities to integrate new technologies that improve efficiency and effectiveness. He enjoys pushing the envelope in creative and fun ways, aiming to accomplish the impossible. Jason also excels in developing high-performance teams and establishing trusted advisor relationships with both internal and external customers. His approach is rooted in transforming business outcomes through creative and relevant technological solutions.
Jason is a graduate of the prestigious Wharton Executive CTO Program, which further refined his strategic vision and leadership capabilities. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of roles, including Systems Administrator, PCB Designer, Network Manager, Systems Architect, DevOps, Info Security Technical Chair, Director of Enterprise Architecture, Manager - SME Americas Object Storage & Scale-Out, Field CTO, and CTO.
Sam Onaga has a background in network engineering for data centers and cloud environments, in startups including Loudcloud and Surveymonkey in areas such as network traffic policy and traffic routing between environments and regions.
Covering network needs for startup companies has meant bridging the gap between different worlds seen by applications programming, real estate development and data center operations to provide connectivity needs through the course of mergers and migrations.
Chris Stott is the founder, chair and CEO of Lonestar Data Holdings Inc., the lunar information, technology and communications company sending the first in a series of data centers to the Moon. He is a passionate leader with a proven track record, and more than 25 years of experience in the space, satellite and telecommunications industries.
Chris is also a lifelong innovator and entrepreneur. In 2000 he founded ManSat, the world's largest commercial provider of satellite spectrum. Previously he worked in Houston with Lockheed Martin Space Operations, and he worked with McDonnell Douglas and Boeing on the Delta Launch Vehicle program. Stott remains active in the field of business education where he serves on both the Faculty and the Main Board of the International Space University in Strasbourg, France, and as the Chairman of ISU USA. Stott has a Master's Degree in Space Science from the ISU, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Kent, Canterbury, with Honors in American Politics, History and Literature.
A Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and the International Institute of Space Law, Stott was also a founder of the International Institute of Space Commerce where he routinely publishes.
Les Dunkley has over 30 years of experience leading technical development and real estate projects - from purchasing, leasing, and facilities management to engineering design and construction of critical facilities. He served as senior vice president in the Americas for Natwest Markets Group as well as vice president and manager of engineering and data center support for the Merrill Lynch Corporate Real Estate Division.
Les grew up in Yonkers, New York, and attended WPI and NY Tech for his engineering degrees. He spends his time between the New York and West Coast offices. Les is fluent in Spanish and led the TLM team in several projects in Mexico and Latin America.
Peter is President of NGV Group, a business focused on early-stage company growth, international ventures and enterprise transformation. He also serves in board and advisory capacities including as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, Sandpiper Development and H7Technologies.
A business executive with 35 years of experience in the energy, defense and infrastructure industries, Peter has held leadership positions in operating companies, service providers and consulting firms; among them: Raytheon, ConocoPhillips & Enron. His expertise in global business management, complex contracting, capital project execution, and supply chain operations enables him to provide value-oriented solutions for growth and operating challenges.
