Ultrascale InRow CDU

Our CDU's (Cooling Distribution Units) function in our product suite to connect downstream with our racks and manifolds to provide cooling output for any of our immersion, direct-to-chip or rear door heat exchange cooling options.  CDU's maintain temperatures and meter the resulting energy usage to regulate their cooling output for all connected equipment in the rack(s).

Introducing the UDI RDHx Solution

Rear Door Heat Exchanger (RDHx) units bridge the gap from air cooling to liquid cooling for a data center by receiving hot air from air-cooled equipment for heat exchange via closed loop liquid circuits.

  • Redundant N+1 pump system with dual integrated VFD
  • Redundant N+1 power supply
  • Coolant connections through top or bottom panel
  • Integrated touchscreen HMI panel
  • PLC control system with battery backup
  • Remote control through Modbus or BACnet
  • On-board integrated leak detection

RDHx Type 1 option:

Introducing the UDI Rack

The UDI product suite furnishes to customers a vision for populating a perfected rack for deployments that support technical values, objectives and choices covering immersion tanks or direct-to-chip liquid cooling, rear-door heat exchangers (RDHx) and cooling distribution units (CDU's).  The rack enclosures support high load ratings, accommodate our cooling components and will accommodate future developments in high-performance-computing and GPU's.

Introducing the UDI Immersion Tank

The UDI product suite furnishes to customers a vision for populating a perfected rack for deployments that support technical values, objectives and choices covering immersion tanks or direct-to-chip liquid cooling, rear-door heat exchangers (RDHx) and cooling distribution units (CDU's).  Our immersion tank design is matched with our rack to support 3 immersion tanks in a stable form factor that allows good access for repairs and maintenance and 180 servers per rack.

Electrical Support

Our immersion tank is designed to support both AC and DC devices and includes dedicated space for a top-of-rack switch.


180 servers and 3 switches in 52RU rack:

  • 3 immersion tanks in a single rack
  • 20 sled blades in a single tank
  • 3 servers in a single sled

Component-serviceable design:  balance of nested components (3 servers, 20 sleds, 3 immersion tanks, 1 rack) supports stability for high weight load and easy access for repairs and maintenance for each server and component.
